Melania Trump Steps Out In A Gray Skirt Suit As She Denies Ties To Jeffrey Epstein In New Speech

The First Lady of the United States dropped a bombshell this week, as she surprisingly recorded and shared a statement about all of the rumors and reports connecting her to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

As more Epstein files were released over the last year, numerous celebrities and notable figures in politics, the entertainment industry, etc., have had to speak out and explain why their names appeared in the shocking documents, either apologizing or denying links to him and his horrendous crimes. Although many have spoken out about the relationship between the president and the financier, others have brought up how his wife, Melania, might have been involved.

In books and other pieces of media, claims have been made that Epstein was responsible for introducing the Slovenian native to the Apprentice star, posed for photos with him, and perhaps even participated in his crimes, etc. However, she shut it all down and denied everything in her statement, calling him "disgraceful." You can watch her speech here.

"I have never been friends with Epstein," she said, while wearing a sophisticated gray skirt suit she had previously worn for a bill signing. "Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach."

As the former model turned political figure continued to explain how she first met the notorious criminal and the times she actually did see him in person, she also noted that she did not suffer at his hands.

"I am not Epstein's victim," she explained. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband, by chance, at a New York City party in 1998... I have never had any knowledge of Epstein's abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity—I was not a participant, was never on Epstein's plane, and never visited his private island."

"Numerous fake images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for years now," she continued. "Be cautious about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false."

After calling out the media outlets, news publications, and book authors who wrote about her rumored times with Epstein, the First Lady then called upon members of Congress and other people in power to ensure anyone involved in his abuse is held accountable.

"I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors," she said. "Give these victims their opportunity to testify under oath in front of Congress, with the power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public, if she wishes, and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the Congressional Record."
