If you shop at Target and love a good bowl of cereal in the morning, you might notice that things will start looking a bit different soon.

The massive retailer recently announced it would be removing cereals that contain synthetic dyes from their store shelves across the country. This big health-based decision goes hand in hand with the MAHA or ‘Make America Healthy Again’ initiative supporters, especially President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who have been pushing for fewer synthetic dyes in American foods. Now, on social media, fans are praising their work. Read more about the situation below.

Target Announces They're Pulling Cereals With Synthetic Dyes From Their Shelves

One of today's most popular places to shop for food and other essentials is Target, which has a huge fanbase and loyal customer following. Now, the retailer is ready to make a small change that could trigger a bigger difference.

At the end of last month, spokespeople for the mega-brand revealed they had decided to no longer sell breakfast cereals with artificial dyes in them. For both their in-person and online stores, Target is working with the brands they sell, as not only will their Good & Gather cereal products with synthetic dyes be pulled, but also other brands they sell.

"We know consumers are increasingly prioritizing healthier lifestyles, and we're moving quickly to evolve our offerings to meet their needs," Target's chief merchandising officer, Cara Sylvester, wrote in a statement.

Trump Supporters Respond To Target's Decision

The famous store's choice to get stricter with the cereals they sell is going hand in hand with new pressures put out from the Trump administration, especially his Secretary of Health, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In addition to pushing protein and certain animal products, the Department of Health has been encouraging a crackdown on artificial coloring and dyes in food.

Therefore, once supporters of the MAHA movement heard the news about Target, they posted celebratory messages on social media platforms like X, formerly Twitter.

"Finally fixing the poison in our food," posted an X user. "Trump + RFK delivering real wins for moms and kids. MAHA momentum is unstoppable. We are fixing food. Massive [win] for Trump, RFK, and American families. Keep it coming!"

"Sounds like a win for us all," added another, as one user wrote, "Make Food Great Again."
