Kim Kardashian is known for her openness to try new looks, but her latest red carpet experiment had people comparing her to a celebrity she might not have been expecting.
The reality star recently walked the red carpet for Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party, where she stunned fans in blue contacts and a disheveled hairdo. It’s been a long time since she’s worn something so daring, sticking towards trendier looks for other red carpet events, and after all was said and done, people ended up comparing her to Erika Kirk. Kim Kardashian Stuns At The Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party Wearing Blue Contacts
The All's Fair star's fanbase has seen her through all different sorts of looks and beauty ideas, from an all-black outfit that covered her entire body at the Met Gala to her fair share of new hair colors.
However, her latest beauty experiment particularly struck a nerve with not only her fans but other pop culture enthusiasts, after she arrived at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party last weekend wearing a figure-hugging gold mesh dress completed with blue contacts in her eyes.
The contacts added an entirely new look to her face, and she completed her transformation with her black, shoulder-length hair being styled purposefully messy.

Fans React To Kim's Red Carpet Look & Compare Her To Erika Kirk
After the shocking pictures of the mom-of-four with her "weird" blue contacts were shared on social media, fans and other users went wild over them. Though she usually gets showered in compliments, this look didn't settle very well with many of her fans.
"Love you, Kim, but this ain't it, babe," wrote a fan on Instagram.
"Contacts are so 2000-late," added another.
In addition to finding the contacts and toussled hair unsettling, other social media users couldn't get over how they made Kim look like famous conservative figure Erika Kirk, who has become the center of internet backlash due to her intense stare and blue eyes.
"Is it just me, or does Kim look a little bit like Erika Kirk?" asked an Instagram user.
"Very Mar-a-Lago cheap," added another.
