It’s no secret that Prince William is not a fan of his disgraced uncle formerly known as Prince Andrew, and hasn’t been for a very long time. And Kate Middleton seemingly feels the same way too!
The Prince of Wales, 43, would have undoubtedly been delighted when he heard that his father, King Charles, would be stripping his uncle of even more royal titles and forcing him to be known simply as Andrew Moundbatten-Windsor. And if we are to believe recent reports, the Princess of Wales, also 43, was quite a key figure in the decision process, along with the Queen Consort!

Kate Middleton And Queen Camilla Reportedly Played A Huge Role In Prince Andrew Losing His Titles
Stripping Andrew of his titles seems to be one way for the royal family to distance itself from the controversy surrounding him, stemming from his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the latest allegations revealed in Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir.
Royal experts believe the Queen Consort and Princess of Wales weren't just involved in the decision to remove his titles, as they think they may have also influenced how the world was told about it!
According to People, a royal insider claimed they "sensed a female touch" in the palace's official statement regarding the removal of Andrew's titles. The giveaway, the insider suggested, may have been the final part of the statement, which read: "Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
"I would think the Queen had a hand in that," the source told People, perhaps in reference to the fact that she has long been a patron of causes related to domestic abuse, rape and assault, and previously revealing that she was the victim of sexual assault as a teen.

It Was 'A Family Decision'
"There would have been a push from Camilla and Catherine, and there was pressure from William, who would not want to inherit the headache. It was a family decision," the insider went on.
Referencing the palace's statement, in particular the end of it, the insider said: "It was quite strong, and I was quite proud when I heard it." They then noted that the move is "definitely looking to the future," and could hint at the next chapter of the monarchy.
They concluded: "This could all be part of that. William and Catherine are moving soon, and all their comments have been about looking to the future."
