Kanye West (Ye) made a major return to the stage with two sold-out comeback shows at SoFi Stadium on April 1 and April 3, 2026, celebrating the release of his album Bully. The performances marked his first large-scale U.S. stadium shows in years, drawing more than 149K fans across both nights.
While many were excited to see him back onstage following a string of canceled European dates, one moment involving his youngest children quickly sparked conversation online.

Kanye West Wears ‘Scary’ Mask Around His Kids
The finale turned into a family moment as Ye walked out alongside his wife, Bianca Censori, and two of his children. In the clip, the rapper appeared in a black full-face mask that completely covered his face. Bianca, dressed in a low-cut, skintight mini dress with leggings, was seen guiding the children away from the stage.
Ye’s kids with Kim Kardashian—Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6—briefly gathered around their father for a quick group hug before being led offstage, with Ye following behind.
Online, reactions to the interaction were mixed, with many users questioning the dynamic and Ye’s masked appearance.
“Kids look confused,” one person wrote on Instagram. Someone else responded, “Wouldn’t you be if you were 8, in the middle of 80k people, with all the noise and lights—and it’s because of your dad, whose face you can’t even see?”
Another user commented, “Those poor kids. Feel sorry for them.”
“That whole moment felt so weird,” one wrote. “You can literally see the confusion in their eyes,” another added.
A different commenter questioned, “Why is he hiding his face from his kids and fans?”
“The way she’s dressed in front of them is sad,” one person shared. Others chimed in with concerns like, “How could they feel comfortable when he’s wearing a black mask?” and “Kids are sensitive—why embarrass them like that?”
One user wrote, “Walking behind your kids and wife with a mask on is wild.” Another asked, “How are children supposed to process something like this? It’s a trauma. What will become of them one day if these are the role models they grow up with?”
Other people added, “Those kids are so confused…why is that man covering his face looking ridiculous. What is the effect of his children looking at the scary mask blank less face raising them?”

North West Performs At Her Dad's Show And Attends Coachella Music Festival
North West also made an appearance at her dad’s show—and even took the stage herself. In front of more than 70K fans at SoFi Stadium on April 1, North joined Ye to perform their songs “Talking” and “Piercing On My Hand.” At one point, the father-daughter duo stood atop a massive globe prop as North delivered her lines, while Ye looked out over the crowd.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has been facing ongoing backlash tied to her daughter’s appearances at major events. During Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend, North was spotted earlier in the day hanging out with friends—wearing thigh piercings—which sparked criticism online from those who felt she was too young to attend the festival without close parental supervision.
Kim later attended Justin Bieber’s set with her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, and was eventually seen with North, but that didn’t stop the commentary.
“No child should be there—I don’t care what their last name is,” one user wrote on Instagram. “At 12, I was still playing outside until the streetlights came on. This is sad,” another shared. Others added, “Way too young for Coachella,” and “The mom is nowhere to be found as usual.”
