Jennifer Lawrence has been delivering plenty of street-style moments in New York City lately, but not every fashion choice has won over fans. During a recent outing with her husband, Cooke Maroney, the actress stepped out in a colorful ensemble that sparked mixed reactions online.

For the casual stroll, the Hunger Games icon wore a teal cropped cardigan featuring a deep V-neckline and button-front detailing. She paired the top with oversized white trousers that featured a wrap-style design at the hips, along with flats and a brown shoulder bag. The Oscar winner completed the look with sunglasses, a gold necklace, and her hair worn loose and natural. See the outfit here!

Jennifer Lawrence's Latest Outfits Disappoint Fans

While some appreciated the relaxed aesthetic, others weren't convinced.

"She needs a new stylist," one person commented on social media.

Another wrote, "The outfit doesn't look put together." Someone else said on X, "Jennifer Lawrence looks more homeless than me when I’m hanging around the house."

The look wasn't the only outfit of Lawrence's to draw criticism this week. Earlier, she stepped out in another bold color combination, pairing a striped button-down shirt with loose-fitting orange pants and bright yellow shoes.

That ensemble also divided fans, with one asking, "Why does she dress so badly?" Another commenter added, "These colors clash."

Despite the criticism, the mom of two has long embraced an effortless, fashion-forward approach to street style, often opting for unexpected silhouettes, oversized pieces, and unconventional color pairings. Whether fans love it or hate it, her latest looks are certainly getting people talking.

Jennifer Lawrence Gets Candid On Life As A Mother

While fans continue to debate her fashion choices, Jennifer has largely kept a low profile in recent years, focusing on family life with her husband.

The couple married in October 2019 and are now parents to two sons. Their first child, Cy, was born in February 2022 and was named after celebrated American artist Cy Twombly. They welcomed their second son in early 2025.

Lawrence has occasionally opened up about how motherhood has changed her life. During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, she spoke about the dynamic between her and Maroney.

"I married somebody who is the opposite of me," she said, explaining that her husband is far more organized and structured than she is. According to the 35-year-old, Maroney thrives on order and routine, something she has come to appreciate even more since becoming a parent.

She also revealed that their children follow a strict daily schedule, noting that mornings begin promptly and routines are carefully maintained.

Motherhood, she admitted, has completely transformed her lifestyle. Before having children, Lawrence's busiest periods typically revolved around filming and promoting projects. Now, her days are packed with responsibilities that extend far beyond work.

"I'm not used to being busy like this," she said, explaining that even the demands of a movie shoot once felt simpler because her focus was limited to work, rest, and repeating the process. Raising two young children, however, has introduced an entirely new level of activity and responsibility into her daily life.
