Jennifer Aniston's Friends Want Her To 'Pump The Brakes' With Jim Curtis

While most of the reports from Aniston's friends have been supportive of her new love, the tables are starting to turn now that money is coming into the equation. According to insiders, the Friends star has no problem opening her wallet for her man.

"When Jen is in someone's corner, she's all the way in and so generous," one source explained. "It's a beautiful quality and her friends appreciate it, but they also worry it makes her more vulnerable."

"As much as Jim does seem like a wonderful person, they can't help but worry when they hear he's got money issues," the source continued. "No one's telling Jen to run for the hills, but they're gently trying to point out that this should be a reason to pump the brakes a bit. But she doesn't see it that way."

Jim's money issues are related to his New York City apartment, which he doesn't have much use for if you believe the reports that he's all but moved into Jen's $21M Los Angeles mansion. He's apparently struggling to find a renter, first listing it in April 2025 for $9,000 per month, then again in June 2025 for $10,500 per month.

With no interested parties, the rental listing was removed in November and a month later the 50-year-old forked over $29,500 to pay off a lien on the condo-like apartment that he's had since March 2024. The latest report is that he's trying to sell the loft for $1.5M.

Despite this, the Murder Mystery star has no qualms. "Jen doesn't see financial issues as some big mark against a person's character and she's ready to do whatever she can to help Jim live his best life," the source explained.

"She's already in full support mode and talking about how she can help him build his profile after the book launch and TV appearances," the insider continued. "Jen believes Jim deserves more success and she thinks the world needs to hear his message. It also can't hurt the relationship to have him start earning money at an A-list level, or at least that's her take on it."

"Her friends worry that it could go the other way – that she'll invest everything in Jim and get taken advantage of," the source added. "They just want her to be cautious."
