It’s normal for siblings not to get along every once in a while. Eventually, they do makeup and everything is good as gold. However, it seems like the royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry are taking a bit longer patch things up.

Although the brothers have been on shaky ground since Harry and Meghan announced their engagement back in the fall of 2017, it was Megxit that put the strain on their relationship. Now that Harry is living in the U.S. with his wife and son, William and Harry’s relationship has pretty much been non-existent.

A source told U.S. Weekly, “William is so tired and done with the drama of it all.” The source further revealed, “Seeing Harry cut ties with virtually every aspect of his English life and identity is so hard to fathom.” Harry and Meghan relocated to Los Angeles, Meghan’s hometown, back in the spring. The couple has been busy doing charitable work and spending time with their family. Prince William has been busy as well. He and his wife, Kate Middleton, have been working fulltime from home during the pandemic.

It seems like the details of the brother’s relationship will soon be exposed. Royal historian Robert Lacey will be releasing a new book about the rift between Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry in October. The book is titled, Battle of Brothers: William and Harry — the Friendship and the Feuds.

There may be light at the end of the tunnel. It seems that there was one positive outcome when Prince Charles contracted COVID-19 earlier in the year—it forced the brothers to get back in touch. Another source close to Harry told U.S. Weekly that Harry has also been leaning on William as he struggles to adjust to his new life in California. It seems that no matter how strained the relationship is, the brothers will be there for each other.
