Hailey Bieber was officially dubbed ‘The First Lady of Coachella’ this past weekend, but some social media users are not buying it.
After the billionaire promoted both her business, Rhode Beauty, and her husband, Justin Bieber, who was a rare headline performer during weekend one of the massive music festival, lots of fans became fascinated with her involvement. Though some cheered her on as a good wife, others felt there was too much of her this weekend, conspiring that she’s using her musician husband for extra clout and business promotion. Read more about the situation below.

Hailey Bieber Promotes Rhode Beauty As Her Husband Headlines Coachella
Last weekend and this upcoming weekend are pretty big ones for the Bieber family, as the Canadian pop star made a rare headlining performance at Coachella, and the makeup mogul got to work to promote her brand.
All eyes were on Hailey, as when she wasn't supporting her husband while he was on stage or listening to his soundchecks, she was in full-blown businesswoman mode, hosting events and promoting new products from her famous brand, Rhode Beauty. In honor of the special weekend, Rhode even came out with a collaboration project with Justin, which was pimple patches and undereye masks.
On Saturday, April 11th, the day of her husband's show, the mom-of-one held a Rhode pop-up event on the festival grounds, Rhode World, where she posed for pictures with fans and influencers, sold products, merch, as well as food and drinks. Once she went from her pop-up to the mainstage to support her man, internet users began calling her 'The First Lady of Coachella."

Social Media Users Accuse Hailey Of 'Piggybacking' Off Justin
Although she's been known as a successful businesswoman and brand owner for a while now, most notably earning billionaire status when she sold her brand to e.l.f. Beauty, there are numerous internet users who seem a little sick of hearing about the former model during Coachella weekend.
A lot of fans showed their affection for her online, even applauding her as a supportive wife when she shared snippets of her watching Justin's soundcheck. However, there were also a lot of people who felt like she was doing more brand promotion than anything, using Justin's big headlining moment to garner some more attention and fame.
"I honestly believe moments like this are the only reason she married him," wrote a user on Reddit.
"It is," responded another. "She piggybacks off his talent because she has none."
One user slammed the 'first lady' nickname as "cringe," as another called her "a nepo baby doing stuff only because she married a famous popstar."
"I'm so tired of this adored king and queen of the world narrative," added a Redditor, as another wrote, "She's nothing without him."
We'll be curious to see what kind of reception Hailey gets during the upcoming second weekend of the music festival, if there will be more controversial Rhode events, or if she'll take more of a step back.
