Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Her 'Mini Stroke' And Heart Surgery In A New Podcast Interview
The billionaire beauty mogul seems like one of those young women in Hollywood who has it all together with her beautiful looks, lavish lifestyle, famous husband, and cute baby. However, behind the scenes of her social media posts and red carpet appearances, she's had her fair share of health struggles.
During a new episode of the famous Therapuss podcast, hosted by social media influencer and comedian Jake Shane, Hailey touched on her scary health incidents in 2022, which included a stroke, heart procedure, and hospitalization. It came out that year that she had been admitted to the hospital for stroke-like symptoms, which she described to the podcast host as a "mini-stroke" during her interview.
"A couple of years ago, I had a crazy medical situation," she said. "I had a mini stroke. Then I found that I had this heart defect that I was born with, so I had to get surgery for it, which sounds really crazy, but they went through my groin, and I was in and out of the hospital the same day."

Hailey Explains How Her Health Scare Inspired Her 'Fascination' With Medicine
There's no doubt that 2022 was a rough year for the model, who later explained how the incidents, which she recovered from physically, inspired not only a passion for medicine and wellness, but also for skincare, which is a big part of her brand, Rhode.
During the Therapuss podcast, she told the influencer about how it's changed her entire perspective on self-care and making sure she's in tip-top shape for herself and her loved ones.
"I'm obsessed with medicine," she explained. "I just am so fascinated with the body and medicine and doctors. I love it...That situation made me a little bit extra hyper-aware of my body and a little bit more nervous about things and staying on top of them. But I've just always been really focused and fascinated by health."
In another interview following the health incidents, she said on the Run-Through With Vogue podcast that she was still emotionally recovering from it all.
"I struggled with a lot of anxiety after," she revealed. "I struggled with a little bit of PTSD, just like the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again. It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again. I mean, it was so terrifying, so jarring, so discombobulating in every single way that you could imagine."
