Earlier this week, there were eyes from all around the world on Washington, D.C., and New York City, as King Charles and Queen Camilla visited both cities as part of their royal state visit, the first one from a British monarch in nearly 20 years.

The king and queen met with President Trump, First Lady Melania, and other various members of the Trump administration, having a few private political talks, enjoying a banquet dinner, and more. Throughout it all, numerous photographers were at the ready, snapping pictures of the momentous occasion. There were a lot of pictures taken during the arrival of the king and queen and the formal arrival ceremony, including some high-quality photos where people could zoom in on the president and see parts of his skin in great detail.

Over the last year, people have been keeping tabs on the 79-year-old's hands, which have been covered in bruises various times, sparking health concerns. During the arrival of Charles and Camilla, social media users noticed that his hands were covered in light, almost white patches instead of the purple bruising that had been seen before.

President Trump Calls King Charles 'The Greatest King' At The End Of His Royal Visit

Many eyes around the world were on the United States last week, as King Charles and Queen Camilla carried out their first official state visit with President Trump and First Lady Melania.

It was a very special four days, especially given that it was one of the first state visits made in nearly 20 years, and since Charles has taken over as King. Throughout their time in America, the monarchs not only interacted with various members of the Trump administration in Washington, D.C., having state dinners and meetings with the President, but they also took a quick trip to New York City, where they met Mayor Zohran Mamdani at the 9/11 memorial, and also made a stop in Front Royal, Virginia.

At the end of the official visit, after numerous talks and events, the press briefly spoke to the four influential individuals to ask how everything went before the royals left the White House. That's when Trump started praising the King, saying, "He's a great king."

"The greatest king in my book," he continued.
