Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest has made headlines, and not just because of the horrible accident he caused. The golf icon, who’s dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, was reportedly not allowed to drive Donald Trump’s grandchildren at all—even before the crash. Tiger Woods Not Allowed To Drive Trump Grandchildren
Tiger Woods has been romantically linked to Vanessa Trump since late 2024, going Instagram-official last March. However, according to an insider, at no point during their relationship has Woods been allowed behind the wheel in the same car as Donald Trump's grandkids.
Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr. for thirteen years, and they share five children together. And though they're more than welcome to take a few golf lessons from Woods, taking a ride with him is out of the question.
"There would be concern if their kids weren't being protected by Secret Service," the insider dished to the New York post. The agents are "certainly not letting Tiger Woods—even without the DUI" drive the kids.
However, it's not all bad blood between the president and the golf star. Following Woods' arrest, Trump told reporters, "I feel so badly. He's got some difficulty. There was an accident and that's all I know. Very close friend of mine. He's an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty."

Difficulty, indeed. This isn't the first time he's been in a car accident as a result of reckless driving. In 2009, Woods crashed his car into a fire hydrant and a tree outside his home in Florida. In 2017, Woods was arrested and charged with a DUI after police found him asleep at the wheel with several medications in his system.
With another incident added to his record, it seems Woods is finally getting the help he needs. He released a statement on Instagram addressing the situation. "I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," he wrote. "I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."
"I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger and more focused place, both personally and professionally," he added. "I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
