Christina Aguilera is one of many celebrities who have rocked long, luxurious hair during their time in the spotlight. However, the internet is convinced that not everything is as it seems.
The pop star has recently shared her latest business venture, partnering with Nexxus to promote a liquid hair leave-in treatment, which she posed for in a new glamorous photoshoot with her blonde hair volumized and on full display. Though she boasted about how the product would “smooth” and keep hair strong, users are calling her out, leaving comments about how it looks like she’s clearly wearing extensions or a dramatic wig in her shoot. Christina Aguilera Poses For A New Photoshoot To Promote Her New Hair Care Partnership
The “Genie In A Bottle” singer has been working on a lot of things aside from her music lately, including festival performances, a theatrical adaptation of her film, Burlesque, and now, she’s dipping into hair care.
Christina has long been known for her flowing long hair, which she’s worn in all sorts of different styles throughout the different eras of her career, and now she’s beginning to sell hair products for her fans. On April 8th, the vocalist posted on Instagram to announce she was partnering with the hair care brand Nexxus to promote their Nexxus Keraphix Liquid Crystalizer Leave-In Treatment.
“Nexxtina,” she joked in her caption. “My hair has lived many lives… And Nexxus’ Keraphix Liquid Crystalizer Leave-In Treatment is the product that can keep up. Smooth and resilient hair, powered by protein science.”
In her photoshoot, she can be seen wearing a tailored gray suit with her long, flowing hair behind her.

Social Media Users Accuse Christina Of False Advertising
While the product might sound very promising and may produce some great results for its customers, social media users can't help but call out the pop star, given she seems to be implying that using it might make people's hair look like hers in the advertisement.
Numerous celebrities wear wigs and hair extensions these days, especially in photoshoots or red carpet events. However, when it comes to selling a hair care product, fans are requesting that Christina be a bit more real with them.
"This is a wig, girl, I can't," commented an Instagram user.
"Is the hair in the room with us?" joked another.
"Using a wig and extensions to sell hair products should be illegal," suggested a user. "It's factually false advertising."
"She will release anything but new music," wrote another.
