Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce may have been finalized over a year ago, their seemingly endless legal battle is still dragging on. Battling it out over their $164M French winery, the former power couple continues to make jabs at one another, with Pitt recently accusing Jolie of purposely delaying their trial date. Brad Pitt Accuses Angelina Jolie Of Delaying Trial
Though you might think Jolie and Pitt would want all their loose ends tied up sooner rather than later, the Maleficent actress just requested their trial date be pushed back to late 2027—a nine month delay. Predictably, Pitt, who has long since moved on from his ex-wife and is quite serious with his new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, is unhappy with this request.
"One key witness, Ms. Jolie's former business manager, Terry Bird, has unfortunately passed away," Pitt's rep stated. "Plaintiffs understand that another potential key witness, Ms. Jolie's transactional lawyer, Laurent Schummer, is likely too ill to testify. This is yet another reason that a nine-month delay of the trial date would prejudice the Plaintiffs."

Pitt has accused Jolie of breaching her contract with him when selling her shares of their jointly owned vineyard, Miraval, and the drawn out legal battle has left him "deprived of the quiet enjoyment of his home in France."
Jolie, though, argues that there is "no evidence anywhere" that Pitt's ability to live in the chateau "has been impacted by this case one iota."
Of course, Pitt has fired back in response to that claim as well. "The wine business associated with the French château has also suffered, as the business has been stymied by the dispute between the château’s indirect shareholders and by Stoli’s repeated efforts to interfere with, and gain control of, the château," his reps responded, referring to the Stoli Group, whom Jolie sold her stake in the winery to.
"This dispute should be resolved as soon as possible so that all parties—including Mr. Pitt—can move on with their lives," the statement concluded.
