Aubrey Plaza Shows Off Her Baby Bump In NYC After Hiding It In Paris Last Month
In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail (check them out here), the Parks and Recreation actress could be seen strolling through New York City wearing a striped long-sleeved shirt and dark joggers. She accessorized with a white baseball cap and dark sunglasses, but fans instantly recognized her, and couldn't help but notice her bump too!
The Megalopolis actress and Chris were first romantically linked last summer, although they've actually known each other for years. Back in 2020, they both starred in the film Black Bear, and between 2023 and 2024, they worked on the Off-Broadway show Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
Just a few days ago, the parents-to-be were photographed smiling with their arms wrapped around each other at the opening afterparty for the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman at Katz's Delicatessen in NYC. The play is directed by Joe Mantello and stars Abbott alongside Ben Ahlers and Tony Award winners Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf. Check out that pic here.
Insider Says Pregnancy Was A 'Beautiful Surprise'
Aubrey's pregnancy was announced by an insider last week. They reportedly told People: "It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year." They went on to say that the couple feels "very blessed" by the pregnancy.
They didn't elaborate on what they meant by "emotional," but it's likely they were referring to Aubrey's late husband, screenwriter and director Jeff Baena, who died by suicide last year.
Social media was understandably thrilled for the couple, with one person writing: "She's had so much loss in her life. What a blessing this is for her!"
"I'm genuinely so happy for her! She deserves nothing but happiness and I'm glad she was able to find that. Mother is going to literally be a mother now!" exclaimed a second, as a third added: "Good vibes are in the universe girl. Enjoy this gift!"
