Donald Trump Praises Nicki Minaj's Curves

Trump made the eyebrow-raising comments on Saturday, October 24, while speaking at a campaign rally in Michigan. The president was discussing Ohio Sen. Jon Husted’s physique when he shifted his attention to Minaj, who was seated in the audience. "By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful a** before, Nicki Minaj," Trump told the crowd, adding, "That’s hard to miss. Stand up, Nicki." The rapper, 43, then stood up and waved as the crowd cheered.

Minaj, who has become an outspoken supporter of the president, later joined him onstage and praised his leadership. "President Trump, it is an honor to stand with you every single time, and I will continue to support you forever and ever," she told the audience, adding that she would support him again if he ran for office in the future.

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, users were appalled to hear what Trump said about the rapper, and even more frustrated for Melania. "You're married, what's wrong with you?" one user asked on Instagram.

"Did the president really say that?" questioned another. "A president talks like that???"

"How can women applaud and cheer him on?" wrote a third person.

"If a boss said this, he'd be fired," pointed out another. "So why is this normal for a president?"

"I feel bad for Melania," wrote the next.

"Ugh so degrading," said another.

"This can't be real!" a final user wrote. "That is just gross."
