I’m a pretty low-effort shoe person in the summer.
I generally rotate between sandals, tennis shoes, and the occasional pair of heels on a night out. BUT the chilly fall weather reminds me that I have a whole wardrobe beyond flip flops. Autumn is cold enough to pull out the good stuff, but not so cold or wet yet that you’re constantly worried about ruining your footwear the second you step outside. Let’s just call it the golden window for shoes!
And nobody makes that golden window easier to shop than Skechers. The brand has been around since 1992, and a huge part of its relevancy over the past 3+ decades has been the fact they’re consistently putting comfort technology front and center. From Skecher’s podiatrist-certified Arch Fit Support to its Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioning and hands-free Slip-ins, these are shoes that look good and feel good.
So I’m treating myself to a little retail therapy this fall, and these five new Skechers styles are first up on my list.
Skechers Hotshot – Varsity Crew ($65)
I didn’t know I needed the Skechers Hotshot until I saw this pair.
I love a rich chocolate brown suede for autumn; plus, the clean, classic court silhouette goes with pretty much everything I tend to wear this season (jeans, casual midi-skirts, dresses, etc). As a mom who basically never stops moving, I also appreciate a sneaker I can just lace up and go in without overthinking it. The Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioned insole doesn’t hurt, either!
Skechers BOBS Wander Luxe ($65)
I’ve never met an ankle bootie I didn’t like. Naturally, I loooove this one!
The ankle height is my personal preference for fall, mostly because I’m over trying to tug high boots over jeans. I also like the fun detail, courtesy of the buckled accent strap, and the side zipper which makes it easy to get on and off. There’s another reason to grab this pair, too: the BOBS from Skechers line has donated over $14.5 million in support of animals in need and helped save over 2.5 million shelter pets. Stylish, comfy, and doing some good in the process? Sign me up.
Skechers Slip-Ins Hotshot – Cozy Fit Soft Luxe ($70)
The name says it all. Cozy, but make it fashion! I like how the quilted upper on this one gives it a really interesting texture that elevates it beyond your average sneaker. And I keep thinking about how good it would look paired with a flirty mini or midi dress for a fun, street-style moment.
The Hands Free Slip-In is also genius for anyone who’s ever wrestled their shoes on while holding a toddler, a mug of tea, and oversized bag (my life, every day.). These shoes are like fall dressing on easy mode.
Skechers Slip-Ins: Hotshot HI – Lifted Luxe ($54.99)
I know what you’re thinking… white sneakers in the fall? Hear me out. A crisp white sneaker is so sleek and cool when everyone else is reaching for brown and burgundy. The high-top silhouette on these is also giving more street style than summer.
Oh, and like the rest of the Skechers Hotshot family, the Hands Free Slip-ins design means you’re not stopping to tie any laces (which I love). Just step in and go!
Skechers Slip-Ins: Glide-Step Pro Boot – Cozy Wish ($100)
Saving the coziest for last! I live in booties year round, mostly because my circulation is terrible and my feet are perpetually freezing. So a faux fur-lined slip-on boot with Air-Cooled Memory Foam cushioning and a water-repellent suede upper was basically made for me.
With a Glide-Step midsole that keeps things lightweight, you’re not clomping around in heavy winter boots before it’s actually winter. Even better, the suede stays looking good even when the weather doesn’t cooperate thanks to the 3M Scotchgard treatment. These boots are cute, cozy, and practical—basically, the holy trinity of fall footwear!
Skechers has a fall style for every mood and every occasion, and at these price points, treating yourself to more than one pair is basically encouraged. Shop the full collection here.
