These days, fast food fans online tend to take a part-time hater role when it comes to their favorite restaurants. The McDonald’s subreddit is a classic example, where frequent customers swap complaints and horror stories. In one particular post, a user shared a story about the chicken sandwiches, in particular, with a photo of the burnt patties slathered with mayo as proof.
Funny enough, the employee who made the sandwich reportedly saw no issue with it. “When we asked for a different one and showed her the employee was like u want more lettuce?” the post reads. “Like what this is a black burnt chicken! We asked for another pair to the manger and he gave us fresh ones and a two new fries. W manager I hope McDonald’s takes care of him. But this food quality is outrageous.”
In the comments, many people shared a similar sentiment, confusing the burnt chicken for a burger at first glance. “I thought it was a burger.
