Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Pose For Date Night Paparazzi Pics

In a series of photographs snapped by paparazzi working for Backgrid, Lively, 38, and Reynolds, 49, can be seen on a date night in New York City. Lively went for a look that might've come from her eccentric It Ends With Us character's closet: black and white polka dot pants, a white tank top, and a brown leather jacket paired with open-toed black Louboutins, and Reynolds kept things simple in khaki pants and white t-shirt underneath a salmon-colored long-sleeve shirt.

The pair were photographed arm in arm on their way out to dinner, even stopping for selfies with adoring fans. Later that evening, they were photographed again, this time with Reynolds giving his wife a piggyback ride!

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, users weren't exactly buying this spontaneous romantic moment, and suggested instead that the couple was posing for loved-up paparazzi pictures as a form of damage control following Lively's very public lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. "This pap walk was written and directed by Blake, right?" one person wrote in a comment on Instagram.

"We’re just wandering around NYC, being our fun and friendly selves! We love to interact with commoners," joked another user. "This was in no way done on purpose in an attempt to shift public perception of us. So bizarre that paparazzi found us!"

"How kind of their bodyguard to stay out of frame so the paparazzi could get those clean shots for this staged outing," another user said.

"This is so staged!" agreed the next.

"You just know they called the paparazzi on themselves," a final user wrote.
