It’s Wednesday and you know what that means: another review of Bravo’s new reality sensation, The Rachel Zoe Project. This week showed Rachel going to Fashion Week and it was sheer agony watching her just waltz into fashion show after fashion show without having to stand in line or being elbowed by a swag-bag hungry intern. Then again, I accept that Rachel is cooler than I am in the eyes of those who do the seating chart so I’m over it. Moving on…
Her assistants had to share a room because there was literally no room at the inn (actually 60 Thompson) for Brad – he had to sleep in Taylor’s room – and he surprisingly lived to tell about it. We saw Rachel taking negative press poorly (stars – they’re just like us!) and taking personal time to sit down with design darlings Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Gilles Mendel, and Peter Som.
I’m actually becoming a huge fan of Rachel’s accessories, like this gold rope and tassel bracelet that I assume must be vintage. I put my own spin on it and would recommend this gorgeous DSquared Gold Mesh Bracelet with Tassel ($175) because, to quote Rachel, “I die” when I look at it.
