Coffee is the world’s most popular drink, and it also has anti-inflammatory and mood-boosting properties.

The caffeine in coffee increases the release of mood-boosting neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and norepinephrine.

A study in 72 people found that both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee significantly improved mood compared with a placebo beverage.

It also contains polyphenols and other anti-inflammatory compounds. There are a number of other surprising health benefits to drinking caffeine, including reducing the risk of Parkinson's and diabetes.
