Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t the only royals being slammed these days, as Prince William and Kate Middleton have also come under fire!
The future king and queen have faced backlash from royal fans and critics for their actions in the weeks following the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, ones which reportedly led to disgraced royal ex-Prince Andrew‘s arrest on his 66th birthday last month.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Slammed For Going On Vacation And Attending The BAFTAs
The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with King Charles, did release statements about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's connection to the documents last month.
However, many critics feel those statements didn't go far enough. Some critics have argued that what followed – including a family vacation during Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis' half-term break, as well as a high-profile appearance at the BAFTAs – undermined the seriousness of the situation.
"Kate and William on vacation and Charles attending a fashion show while Prince Andrew was being interrogated is not a flex. They're just showing the world how out of touch they are," one X user wrote, also referencing the fact that King Charles made an appearance at London Fashion Week.
"Yet another holiday for those two lazy bums?" asked a second X user, as a third slammed: "Workshy Willie on holiday again."

Reddit Comments
The conversation continued over on Reddit, where one user said: "Pedo protectors enjoying an award show, priorities right?" A second asked: "Where is the empathy for the victims? This is the only thing that could concern them; restitution."
"The arrogance is mind blowing," slammed a third, as a fourth concurred: "This seems so out of touch. Very bad optics." "The distraction campaign continues!" exclaimed a fifth, as a sixth echoed: "Distraction distraction distraction."
In a separate Reddit thread discussing the Waleses' vacation, one user wrote: "Their silence is complicit." "Hmm, so that's ok, but not ok for the Sussexes?" asked a second, as a third echoed: "I'm not saying it isn't wise to keep quiet, just pointing out that the British media has criticized one and not the other." A fourth exclaimed: "I can't understand how people continue to defend William and Kate!"
"The crisis manager probably told them to lay low while the others take the hits," speculated a fifth. The same user added: "If William's reign comes, he should be known as William the Coward. I don't know if queen consorts are named, but Kate should be known as Kate Middleton the Lazy. "

Royal Expert Defends The Prince of Wales For Not Commenting On Ex-Prince Andrew Situation
Not everyone felt the same way though. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that the idea Prince William should publicly address his uncle's alleged ties to Epstein or should mention the arrest in general would be a "fatally flawed tactic."
"The criticism that he is doing nothing comes from the totally mistaken theory that it would be a good idea that he should be responding to events as they occur," Fitzwilliams said.
"This would be a fatally flawed tactic," he went on, adding: "He has put out one statement and this was followed by a further statement from the Palace on the same day."
