The first lady appeared in the White House Rose Garden to announce that her “Fostering the Future” initiative was expanding through a $2M commitment from IndyCar and Fox Sports. For the occasion, she wore a striking red pencil skirt with a blue button-down shirt.

Experts Weigh In
Following the former model's reappearance at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Fadi Hamadani also weighed in on her appearance in an interview with the Irish Star. While he praised the first lady for looking “incredibly fresh” and “well rested,” he noted what he described as subtle changes around her eyes.
Hamadani said her eyes appeared “more open and less heavy than they have previously,” adding that the appearance could be consistent with blepharoplasty.
Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, is a procedure that removes or repositions excess skin, muscle and fat around the upper or lower eyelids. It can be performed for cosmetic reasons or, in some cases, to improve vision.
However, changes in appearance in photographs alone cannot confirm whether someone has undergone cosmetic surgery, and Melania has previously denied having cosmetic procedures.
In a 2016 interview with GQ, she pushed back against speculation that she had undergone plastic surgery, including rumors that she had breast implants.
“I didn’t make any changes,” she said at the time, adding that she believed her appearance was the result of taking care of herself. “I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body,” she said.
