Whoopi Goldberg isn’t the only panelist on The View to use – and rave about – controversial weight loss injections. Joy Behar has now revealed that she’s also turned to a GLP-1 medication – and dropped a significant amount of weight in the process.
During the Wednesday, February 18th episode of The View, Behar, 83, shared that she has lost 25 lbs. with the help of a weight loss medication while discussing the growing popularity of GLP-1 drugs with her co-hosts.

Weight Loss Injections Are Discussed On 'The View'
The conversation included Goldberg, 70, Sara Haines, 48, Sunny Hostin, 57, and guest co-host Savannah Chrisley, 28. The panel discussed medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, which were originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes but are now widely prescribed for weight loss.
Chrisley revealed she began taking injections after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, and said she has lost 40 lbs. so far. Goldberg, meanwhile, told viewers: "I did it because I was almost 300 pounds and I'm looking good now."
The Sister Act actress has previously spoken about using weight loss injections to help manage her health and mobility. On a past episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Goldberg confessed to using Mounjaro and said: "I am doing that wonderful shot that works for folks who need some help, and it's been really good for me."
She went on to say that she lost the weight of "almost two people" since taking the medication, adding: "I say it all the time. Because you can't go from close to 300 pounds without someone saying, 'OK, what happened?' 'Cause you know I didn't go to the gym!"

Joy Behar Confesses To Using Weight Loss Injections
As for Behar, who has been on The View since 1997, she did not disclose which specific medication she has been taking, but she was refreshingly candid about her results.
"I lost 25 lbs. We all did it!" she exclaimed. "All at this table," Goldberg chimed in, while Chrisley added: "GLP-1s are cool."
The topic of weight loss injections isn't new for Behar. Back in 2024, she defended Kelly Clarkson, 43, after the "Since U Been Gone" singer faced criticism for using weight loss injections to slim down.

Speaking on The View at the time, Behar pushed back on the stigma surrounding the medication, saying: "Diets do not work. I've been on diets up and down, up and down. You lose it, then you gain it back."
"Nobody wants to be fat except a sumo wrestler. It's uncomfortable, your clothes don't fit, everybody wants to lose weight," she declared.
