“Hailey was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella,” a source close to the couple told US Weekly. “She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up.”
Reports say that Justin had previously declined offers to perform at the Indio-based festival, but after dropping two albums this summer, Swag and Swag II, he decided it was the perfect moment to finally take the stage.
“He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity,” the source added. “He is more in control of his career. He doesn’t have people making decisions for him anymore. Hailey assured him now is the best time and has been incredibly supportive.”
