Over the weekend, Trump arrived at the Dover Air Force Base for the dignified transfer ceremony of six US soldiers that were killed in the war Trump launched against Iran less than two weeks ago. In numerous photos and video footage from the event, as soldiers carry the American Flag-wrapped caskets off the plane, Trump stands, watching, with his white baseball cap firmly on his head.
Trump is not the only one hot water for this disrespectful move—Fox News is also under fire for airing incorrect footage of the event. The network showed videos from a dignified transfer ceremony from December in which Trump had removed his hat, claiming it was from this past Saturday. After being called out, Fox News did release an apologetic statement: "We regret the error and apologize for the incorrect footage."
