Bruce Springsteen has been an outspoken critic of Trump since his first administration, and this time around, he’s even gone as far as to launch an anti-Trump tour called the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.
Earlier this month, Springsteen launched his tour, and wasted no time addressing the injustice he sees in Trump’s America. While most at the concert were in full support of the singer’s message, others were less than enthused by the political motivation. Keep reading for more information.

Bruce Springsteen Kicks Off The Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour
Before a song was even played, Bruce set the record straight about the point of his tour. "I want to begin the night with a prayer for our men and women overseas," he began. "We pray for their safe return. The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock & roll in dangerous times. We are here in celebration and defense of our American ideals, democracy, our Constitution, and our sacred American promise. The America that I love, the America that I’ve written about for 50 years, that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous administration."
"Tonight," he continued, "we ask all of you to join with us in choosing hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness, ethics over unbridled corruption, resistance over complacency, unity over division, and peace over war." While he was met with cheers and support live in Minneapolis, many users online, particularly Trump supporters, were not impressed.

Social Media Reactions
Especially on X, formerly Twitter, users expressed their discontent with Springsteen, posting angry tweets like, "Imagine paying money to listen to this idiot lip sync and give the dumbest most predictable political lectures anyone's ever seen."
"What an absolutely deranged moron, so sad," another person tweeted.
"Bruce @Springsteen has become just another politician reading a script from a teleprompter," a third person suggested.
"Bruce needs a history lesson if he thinks this is the worst it's been," another chimed in. "Such a hypocrite."
"What a washed up loser," another said.
"Shut up and play your guitar!" a final user wrote.
