Brad Pitt Is Photographed Filming 'The Adventures Of Cliff Booth' In A Shaggy Wig And Mustache

One of the most popular roles of his later career chapter was Cliff Booth, a funny, laidback Hollywood stuntman who was one of the main protagonists in Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. This is not the first time the actor has worked with the renowned director, but Cliff's character definitely made a mark on audiences, so much so that after Brad won the 2020 Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, studios began the process of creating a follow-up film that centered around the stunt guy.

Last week, the 61-year-old was spotted on set filming the sequel, and he was dressed in full-blown Cliff Booth hair and makeup, as well as sporting a 1970s-esque look, from his clothes, all the way to his hair and mustache. In the on-set photos snapped by paparazzi, the actor can be seen outside the New Beverly Cinema in L.A. wearing a mustard yellow, floral-patterned short-sleeved shirt and some classic denim blue jeans.

While the outfit wasn't too surprising for his character, who wore a similar shirt in the initial film, what did catch fans' attention was the wig and faux facial hair he was wearing. The wig was a blonde, slightly long and shaggy style, and it was accompanied by a thick, 1970s-style mustache. The look was quite different for Brad, who's been rocking super short hairstyles these days.

Fans React To Brad's 1970s Look For Filming On Social Media

After pictures of the actor strutting around in character for the upcoming film, which is slated to be released next year, were shared on social media platforms like Instagram, fans and other internet users couldn't get over how different he looked. They took to the comments section to compare him to another famous heartthrob, and many wrote about how they disapproved of the Cliff look on him.

"We don't like this look," commented a fan on Instagram, who apparently was speaking for other fans of his.

Another user wrote that he looked "better with cut hair," as another added they "don't like the new hair."

Some fans were into the more vintage-looking hair and mustache on Brad, writing that he "looks better now than he did back in 2019."

As fans weighed in on whether or not they were digging the wig and 'stache on the dad of six, numerous people wrote that he looked a whole lot like an older and famous actor, Robert Redford, who was considered a heartthrob in the 1960s and 1970s, back when he starred in films like The Way We Were.

"He looks like a young Robert Redford," commented an Instagram user.

"Why do I see Robert Redford?" asked another.

Either way, it looks like Brad's many hair eras continue to have fans divided on what looks best. For right now, anyone against the look can take comfort in knowing that in the on-set photos, the wig and mustache are temporary, and made to get him in character.
