Donald Trump and Melania Trump have never been accused of being a tight-knit couple, but a new revelation from Gavin Newsom’s memoir about the Trump’s design for Air Force One drives a wedge even further between them in the court of public opinion. The California governor described how the Air Force One presidential bedroom is set up: with two separate beds. Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump And Melania Trump Have Separate Beds On Air Force One
In his new book, Young Man in a Hurry: A Memoir of Discovery, Gavin Newsom describes the first time he saw the inside of Air Force One—during Donald Trump's first administration. Upon walking into the private bedroom area of the plane, he witnessed two beds separated by several feet.
"This was the chamber where he and Melania, on trips to distant places, retired," he described. "A room with two beds, I could see, separated by more than a few feet."
"Melania wanted one bed," Newsom recalled Trump saying. "But two beds, you know, two beds next to each other."
"He seemed to be winking," Newsom added.

Donald Trump & Melania Trump Are Living Separate Lives
This report doesn't help the rumors that Donald and Melania Trump are living separate lives despite being married and sharing a son together. Back in May, author Michael Wolff told theDaily Beast Podcast that they're effectively "separated" and "live separate lives."
This speculation is fueled by instances of Melania rarely attending events alongside her husband, spending time at her New York residence rather that at the White House or their Mar-a-Lago resort, and ultimately looking disinterested with one another when they are together. Though the White House responded to Wolff's claims by calling him a "lying sack of s***" and "a fraud," the rumors continue to spread.
