Last night, July 13th, was a big night for the 70-year-old, as she attended the premiere of The Whoopi Monologues, an off-Broadway production that's a reimagining of her one-woman show from 1984.
Whoopi herself, members of the cast, other performers, and more showed up at the Lincoln Center Theater for the show's premiere, which is where it'll run from now to August 30th. There was another head-turning attendee - her 52-year-old daughter, Alexandrea "Alex" Martin Dean. Alex, who is an actress and producer like her mom, doesn't tend to make frequent public mother-daughter appearances, but was all smiles as she posed next to Whoopi on the red carpet.
While her daughter had on a casual yet accessorized black and white matching set, the Sister Act star wore a flowing tan dress layered beneath a coordinating jacket, which ended up showing off her slender frame.

However, they also commented on how 'good' Whoopi looks, pointing out her latest weight loss results. Over the past two years, she's openly discussed her weight loss journey and admitted to taking the prescription weight loss medication Mounjaro after realizing she had weighed nearly 300 pounds in 2022.
