Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had to make their own way in America since leaving their royal duties behind, and after many failed business ventures, the couple has reportedly turned to friends of theirs for loans, including Tyler Perry. However, sources are now reporting that the Sussexes are ghosting their former friend and refusing to pay back the $14M loan he extended them. Keep reading for more information.

Tyler Perry Helps Out Meghan & Harry

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the royal family behind, Tyler Perry welcomed them to California with open arms, letting them crash at his $18M Beverly Hills mansion before they secured their own in Montecito. He reportedly even let them use his security team as well, but sources are now saying the former royals are "ghosting him."

"He's saying he's finished, he's done, he's done everything in his power to help them," an insider said to Globe. "The problem is, they would not call him back."

Perry is the godfather of Meghan and Harry's daughter, Lilibet, and has been ingrained in their lives in America from the moment they moved back in 2020. Is this the end of their relationship? Only time can tell.

What's Next For Meghan & Harry?

It's unclear what Meghan and Harry are planning to do for a source of income net, as Meghan's Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, is reportedly not returning for a third season. "It's not a returning series," a Page Six source explained. "There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there's nothing in the works yet." This comes after the 44-year-old said the show is "a lot of work."

Rather than filming, Markle will continue to build her lifestyle brand, As Ever. "People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized," another source explained. A third insider also added that Markle has pitched several holiday special ideas, including a 4th of July episode and a Valentine's Day episode, but again, nothing is in motion just yet.

Meghan's contract with Netflix, hasn't been cancelled, so this isn't exactly like her Spotify deal. Back in 2023, Spotify cancelled her and Prince Harry's $20M podcast deal after just one season of Meghan's Archetypes podcast.
