Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding may be over, but new details from the star-studded celebration are continuing to spark conversation online. One unexpected feature in particular—a luxury raffle for guests—has divided social media after an attendee showed off her prize.
Jackie Tranquill, who was dressed in a floral purple gown and is the wife of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill, shared a photo on Instagram of the black Chanel bag she won during the raffle at the couple’s July 3 wedding in NYC. In the image, the leather bag with gold chain straps sat on a table as she flaunted her winning raffle ticket. The designer handbag is estimated to retail for around $7K.

Fans React To Taylor Swift Having A Raffle At Her Wedding
The post quickly went viral, with many people saying they'd never heard of a raffle being held at a wedding—especially one attended by celebrities and wealthy guests.
"Nothing says tacky like having a raffle at a wedding," one Instagram user wrote.
Another commented, "A raffle at a wedding? That's weird."
Others added, "Taylor Swift's wedding sounds more like a circus than a wedding,"
"I've never, ever heard of a raffle at a wedding," and "The thing is, all those guests could probably afford a purse like this."
Some questioned the purpose of giving away luxury items to attendees, with one person writing, "I don't really understand the point of giving this away for free," while another added, "A rich person's raffle, with expensive prizes being won by rich people."
Not everyone focused on the raffle itself, however. Some were simply stunned by the value of the prize, with one user asking, "Why can a bag possibly cost so much?"
Although no official photos or videos from inside the wedding have been released, reports have continued to reveal new details about the lavish event, which took place at Madison Square Garden.

Insiders Share Details Of Taylor & Travis' Raffle At Their Wedding
According to the Daily Mail, the reception included an hour-long luxury raffle featuring high-end designer prizes. "It was really bizarre," one alleged attendee told the outlet.
"Straight after the ceremony, Taylor and Travis did a raffle and gave out expensive gifts for an hour. Everyone was weirded out."
The source continued, "It was a circus meet-and-greet. Everyone kind of felt like, why are they giving away Chanel bags as if we are all their poor fans? It was pretty demeaning. It killed the vibe."
Nearly 1K guests reportedly attended the wedding, including a star-studded lineup of celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Gigi Hadid, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, and Tom Brady, alongside dozens of other actors, musicians, television personalities, and professional athletes.
While the insider claims have fueled debate online, neither the Grammy winner nor the footballer has publicly commented on the reported raffle or the criticism surrounding it.
