Taylor Swift has not only become one of the most famous people on the planet, but she’s also become a notable face in the NFL. However, some of her latest actions have football fans writing some harsh comments.
The singer-songwriter has been noticeably absent from some Kansas City Chiefs games this football season, which is surprising to many, considering how much she’s been supporting her fiancé, the team’s tight end, in recent interviews. The news doesn’t come long after reports that she recently upped her security budget due to safety concerns. Still, either way, NFL fans continue to have something to say about her overall involvement in the professional sport. Read more about the situation below.

Taylor Swift Misses Kansas City Chiefs Away Games
Football season is in full swing, meaning the Kansas City Chiefs have started playing games not just in their home city, but also in other parts of the country. Just as the sport's season began to kick off, Taylor Swift released her new album, Life of A Showgirl, her first record since getting engaged to the team's star player, Travis Kelce.
While promoting the new album, the Eras Tour star spoke highly about how much she adores the football player as well as how much she loves watching him play the sport. She even mentioned that she turned down any offers or ideas for her to play the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show, noting that she wanted to keep all of her focus towards watching Travis play.
Despite her statements, fans of hers as well as football fans have noticed that she hasn't been all that present during some of this season's Chiefs games, especially away games. Just recently, the team played the Buffalo Bills in upstate New York, and many expected Taylor to be there. However, she was not, and some of her fans believe it could be due to her safety.

Taylor Swift Is Reportedly 'Concerned' For Her Safety As Football Fans Weigh In On Her Missing Games
One of the last times the "Fate Of Ophelia" singer showed up for a Kansas City Chiefs game was while they played a home game in Arrowhead Stadium, where some internet users slammed her for making a "dramatic" entrance behind a large, protective blockade.
Since then, new reports from inside sources have emerged that the singer has upped her security budget by approximately $2M and has become even more "concerned" for her safety following the latest updates in her stalker case and acts of violence across the country.
"She is seeing America getting tense, which is creating a feeling of unease," a source told The US Sun. "The measures at Arrowhead Stadium are important for her. She knows she is always the center of attention and wants to avoid that if possible."
Not only that, but Taylor is allegedly worried that if she shows up to numerous games throughout the season, it would be taking attention away from Travis and his team. Once football fans and other internet users got a hold of her absences, they began weighing in, with some NFL fans criticizing her overall presence at any games.
"We are all tired of the show," wrote a user on Instagram.
"She's afraid of getting booed again," added another, referencing when she was booed by football fans at several games, including last year's Super Bowl.
