Sydney Sweeney has had some epic style moments these past few years. And akin to most, if not all, A-listers, she has also had one or two sartorial misses too.
Unfortunately, the outfit she wore during her latest talk show appearance seems to fall into the latter category. The Housemaid actress dropped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, December 1st; and her all-red outfit definitely divided fans…

Sydney Sweeney Wears Divisive Red Midi Dress On 'Tonight'
The 28-year-old Christy star poured her enviable curves into a fiery Alex Perry crepe satin midi dress from the Resort 2026 collection, featuring a round neckline, ruched detailing at the waist, and exaggerated shoulders.
The GQ cover star accessorized with some dark red Paris Texas slingback heels, and finished off with a cropped blonde wig. And fans were critical of the dress *and* the wig in equal measures! While a few people did like the dress, most social media users thought it was unflattering and even aged her…
Negative Internet Reactions
"How old is she and why does she look like Tiffany Trump here? Her stylist definitely hates her," slammed one person on Instagram. "What happened Sydney?" asked a second, in agreement. "I don't like your outfits at all, change your stylist," they added. "Fire the stylist," advised a third, followed by the crying laughing emoji, as a fourth said: "She looks 40." "Giving Fox News anchor," quipped a fifth, as a sixth said: "Omg horrifying."
Then came the comments about her hair, with a seventh saying: "Don't love this wig." "The hair looks like that $40 wig on Amazon," criticized an eighth, as a ninth thought: "That's a wig from some SNL sketch." "This bob ain't bobbin on her! Sorry," added a tenth, followed by the crying laughing emoji.
Many other comments referenced the all-red color scheme and thought it tied in with her apparent political views. Earlier this year, news surfaced that the Madame Web star is a registered Republican, with President Donald Trump even coming to her defense following her controversial American Eagle campaign. "MAGA red!" exclaimed an eleventh. "Sydney Sweeney stuns in republican red," concurred a twelfth, as a thirteenth declared: "She's targeting MAGA."
