Last night, celebrities stepped out for the prestigious SAG Actor Awards, and some of Hollywood’s leading ladies all rocked the same trend.
From Gwyneth Paltrow to Jenna Ortega, there were some big names wearing similar silhouettes and looks on the SAG Awards red carpet, and the standout trend was plunging, low-cut gowns. The gowns, while all different, found different ways to add a more risque element to the award show looks, and some notable nominees and guests brought their own spin to the look. Read more about some of the standout women who stunned in the low-cut dress trend below.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow
The lifestyle guru is back in the acting spotlight following her performance in Marty Supreme, and her red carpet appearance last night was certainly a memorable one.
Gwyneth made headlines in a plunging gown made from slightly sheer black lace. It had an almost mermaid-like silhouette with a puffy skirt towards the bottom, and an ombre effect, as the lace faded from sheer to solid black. The neckline went all the way down to just above her belly button, and she emphasized it by wearing her blonde hair back in a tight bun. She added a pop of color with some dangling, turquoise earrings and coordinated with a black manicure and black heels.

2. Kristen Bell
Kristen was one of the most highly anticipated faces on the red carpet, as she was the award ceremony's host for the evening, marking her third time taking over the role.
For her red carpet appearance, she dazzled in a silver, bedazzled gown with a low-cut top. The complex gown was made from sheer, bedazzled fabric and completed with extra satin fabric that wrapped around her waist and exaggerated her hips. With the sheer material, plunging neckline, and low-cut back, the risque gown was paired with classic accessories like diamond earrings and a coordinating necklace, making her hard to miss.

3. Irina Shayk
The famous model was on the SAG Actor Awards for the first time this year, and certainly did not disappoint with her red carpet look for the evening.
She exaggerated her enviable figure with a curve-hugging black gown with a low-cut top that almost made her look like Jessica Rabbit. The dress was made extra sultry with a large leg-slit in the skirt. She wore her long, dark brown hair down and slightly crimped, and paired the simple yet flashy gown with some long, black leather gloves. Irina also had on a pop of color with some bright red lips and wore some pointed-toe heels.

4. Jenna Ortega
The Wednesday icon has been promoting the latest season of the famous spooky Netflix series over the last year, and carried on some slightly gothic themes for the SAG Awards red carpet, but without wearing any dark colors.
Jenna stepped out in a slip dress with a satin skirt and lace top with a super low-cut neckline. The dress was a slightly off-white color and looked like something out of a museum, with the bottom of the skirt being a bit tattered and some intricately placed holes. The revealing top was completed with a delicate necklace and a black choker on top, and she had her signature dark hair worn in loose curls, while stunning in intense dark eyeliner.
