Pinstripes have clearly become something of a style signature for Gosling lately. He recently wore a similar look—this time paired with a bright red shirt—also from AMIRI’s Autumn/Winter 2026 tailoring during the opening monologue of Saturday Night Live in New York City.
Project Hail Mary is a sci-fi adventure following Ryland Grace, a scientist-turned-teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship with no memory of how he got there. He soon discovers that an alien microorganism called “Astrophage” is threatening to destroy the Sun—and with it, life on Earth. Through a series of flashbacks, Grace recalls the details of his mission, forms an unexpected alliance with an alien named Rocky, and races against time to save humanity.
Fashion fans couldn’t get enough of his style, flooding Instagram with compliments following his Project Hail Mary premiere.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sean McNally, who has not treated the couple, told The Daily Mail that Gosling does not appear to have had any recent surgical procedures.
“I don’t see evidence of recent facial surgical procedures,” Dr. McNally explained. “In the last couple of years, it appears he’s utilized filler in his midface. This is a common area of concern with aging, as the fat pads drop and shrink, which can make people look older and hollower there.”
