Queen Camilla Steps Out With A Dior Handbag Once Worn By Princess Diana
Though there are many members of the royal family who are known for their chic and elegant style, like Kate Middleton, there are a lot of people in the world who would argue that none of them hold a candle to Princess Diana.
The princess, before she tragically passed away in a car accident in 1997, was known for her style both during her days married to King Charles and after they got divorced. From her wedding gown with the long and elegant train to her sultry "revenge dress," she knew how to dress well and rocked some great accessories along the way.
One of which was the Lady Dior handbag, a small yet sophisticated bag from the infamous brand. It seemed that Diana's favorite color of the bag was the classic black, and interestingly, nearly 30 years after her death, Camilla, her husband's mistress, was seen out and about with it during the New York leg of last month's state visit.
As she walked around the city, meeting Mayor Mamdani and touring the New York Public Library with Sarah Jessica Parker, the 78-year-old queen held a black leather Lady Dior bag with gold charms, exactly like the one Diana would frequently step out with.

The NYC trip during the royal state visit, which came to an end in late April, was not the first time she stepped out with the famous purse; she had toted around a pastel pink version. But seeing the black one with gold embellishments in particular sent many Princess Diana fans into a fury.
They took to social media platforms to write about their thoughts on the matter, many of which were angry, as they wrote about Camilla not being able to compare to the late Princess of Wales.
"You might be Queen Consort, but you will never be the People's Princess," wrote an X user.
"Beyond tacky," added another. "Why not start wearing her dresses and stealing her hairstyle, too, just to further dance on her grave?"

Though the queen is gradually making more headlines for her sense of style on the modern-day throne, one thing is being made abundantly clear in the eyes of royal family fans - there will never be anyone like Princess Diana.
