Ryan Reynolds' Leaked Text Messages About Justin Baldoni

The private text messages between Baldoni and Hoover were made public through court documents in Blake Lively's ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni. In the texts, which were reportedly exchanged on August 10, 2024, Reynolds expressed his frustration with the controversy his wife became embroiled in with Baldoni. "It's amazing to me that you can have everybody involved with a production completely run away from a person who is obviously a predator and sociopath and the narrative must first land on why a woman is the problem," Reynolds allegedly wrote.

In the same exchange, Reynolds also accused Baldoni's PR team of managing his public image while allowing criticism of Lively to flow freely. Mocking Baldoni's team, Reynolds imagined what they might've told Baldoni: "Crisis team: okay, Justin, all you do is talk about DV and how wonderful Blake is. And we’ll handle the online stuff. No matter what, you keep up your feminist advocacy. And speak like an emotionally elevated thought leader. Understood?"

Reynolds also included Justin's imagined response: "Justin: Namaste. Let’s get this b****."

Social Media Reactions

While many social media users rushed to Justin Baldoni's defense, others were annoyed the topic was in the news cycle again in the first place. "Omg! This again!!!" one person wrote on Instagram. "Let it go, we heard enough."

"Isn’t that defamatory?" asked another user.

"What a deeply disturbing family, to try ruin a human's life like that, shame on them," said another.

"Justin should sue him," another suggested.

"That is called projection," added another.

"Ryan Reynolds calling anybody else a sociopath is… a choice," posted another.

"Yeah we also have seen his wife's texts plotting with friends to steal the movie production from its legitimate owner," pointed out another user. "She lost all 15 of her claims and Baldoni has been vindicated."

"Team Justin!" a final user posted.
