Prince William Reportedly Wants Meghan Markle To Keep Kate Middleton And The Children 'Off-Limits'
An insider reportedly told Rob Shuter on his Naughty But Nice Substack that the estranged brothers may finally be ready to put their differences aside and reunite once and for all. However, Prince William reportedly has some ground rules, including that the former Suits actress must refrain from discussing his wife or children…
"William is willing to speak to Harry, but he wants Catherine and his children kept out of Meghan's mouth," the insider explained, adding: "No public comments, no private briefings, no dragging his wife or children into their grievances. They're off-limits."
The brothers' relationship has been strained for years, particularly since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020. Things deteriorated further following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which they made several allegations about the royal family.
Tensions were seemingly heightened once again when Prince Harry revealed even more family secrets in his 2023 memoir, Spare, seemingly dashing any remaining hopes of a reconciliation.
Prince William And Prince Harry's Feud Is Reportedly Becoming 'Embarrassing'
Another insider went on to suggest that it's in both brothers' best interests to meet and end their feud, especially as they've reportedly "reached a point where continuing to ignore each other is becoming increasingly embarrassing."
"This cannot continue. Two grown men avoiding each other is making them both look petty and foolish," the insider went on, adding: "Their feud has become a national joke."
The brothers have reportedly gone to great lengths to avoid each other over the years, even allegedly keeping their distance when attending their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes' funeral back in 2024.
And according to reports, when Prince Harry, Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, secretly met with King Charles and Queen Camilla over the summer, the Prince and Princess of Wales weren't even informed about the meeting until afterwards, which reportedly left them furious.
But Prince Harry reportedly doesn't want things to remain this way, if the latest insider claims are anything to go by. "Harry wants his brother back," the insider said, suggesting that William may feel the same way.
However, the Prince of Wales is reportedly determined to put his wife and children first, regardless of whether the brothers manage to reconcile.
"William wants Catherine and his children left alone. They can rebuild their relationship, but William will not allow his family to become collateral damage again."
