Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have undoubtedly left quite the mark on the rest of the royal family, but now, it looks like he is hoping they’re getting ready to reconcile with both of them.

Inside sources and royal experts are coming forward to state that the Duke of Sussex is hoping that if he brings his wife back home to the UK with him for the upcoming Invictus Games, his father, brother, and other members of the royal family will treat her with kindness. This report didn’t come long after claims that if the As Ever founder were to go back to England, she would need extra assurances and heightened security, potentially hurting her chances at reconnecting with her estranged in-laws. Prince Harry Reportedly Hopes His Family Will 'Be Polite' To Meghan Markle If She Accompanies Him To The Invictus Games

Over the last three years, since Harry and Meghan were last in the UK together for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, people have been wondering if and when the two of them would reunite with the rest of the royal family.

Despite losing his infamous security court case last year, the Spare author has made a handful of trips back to England for events, even reportedly having tea with his father, King Charles, last September. Since then, more and more reports have come out that not only is Harry interested in reconciling with his family, but he is also interested in trying to figure out some sort of "part-time royal" work he could start doing again.

It looks like he could potentially be spending more time with his relatives and even spending some time in public with them, as it was announced that the 2027 Invictus Games, an international Paralympic sporting event he co-founded, will be in Birmingham, England. The games have been attended by most notable members of the royal family, and in the eyes of royal family fans, it would be rather strange if Harry chose not to go.

As the question of whether or not the Suits alum would join him lingers, insiders claim he's hoping it would go smoothly, telling Express he wants his family to be "polite" to her.

Harry Allegedly Wants 'Reassurance' That His Family Would Be Welcoming Towards Meghan

It's no secret that the former actress's relationships with members of the royal family, from King Charles to Kate Middleton, have had their moments of tension from the start. However, things really heated up when it came to a head as she and Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

Additionally, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly been increasingly worried about her safety if she were ever to return to the UK, especially since she faced such intense media scrutiny during her days there. So, there's a good chance that she might choose to skip the Birmingham games entirely.

But if she does, Harry is allegedly "seeking reassurances" that she'll be met with warmth and open arms, despite her requests for heightened security.

"Harry is coming in with all these demands on behalf of Meghan, and it's rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way," an insider told the above publication.

We'll be curious to see what the summer of 2027 holds, if the famous couple will reunite with their distant family before then, or if their plans ultimately end up falling through.
