Prince Harry’s visit to the UK with his family is swiftly approaching, and it seems the security details haven’t been worked out. The Duke of Sussex has been adamant for months that he must have the best security package available in order for him to feel comfortable bringing Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet to the UK, and it sounds like his rep is pushing King Charles to approve it. Keep reading for more information.

Prince Harry Pushes For More Security
According to royal editor Richard Eden, Prince Harry is laying the pressure on his father to provide taxpayer-funded security for the Sussexes. "To me this seems a bit of a trap frankly," Eden explained. "So let's be clear of what's happening, Harry and Megan are saying, 'We will stay at a royal residence, but only if each time we leave with our children, we're guaranteed security.'"
"So, last time Harry was here last September, for example, he was given police protection when he carried out an engagement," he continued. "On this occasion, they've got lots of different things they want to do, but they're saying unless that's guaranteed, we're not going to stay with you."
"So to me this feels like a sort of trap because if they get the king in this position or the government in this position where they're guaranteed then in future they can say this is what we expect every time and indeed if we get it in Britain we should get that in America as well," he continued.
"So there's a lot of manipulation going on and it's all quite unedifying," he added.

Prince Harry Accused Of Using Kids As Bargaining Tools
This isn't a shock: Prince Harry has been fighting for taxpayer-funded security ever since he was stripped of it when he left his royal life behind. A source close to Prince Harry has maintained that he has always demanded "an enhanced package of security, so he can stay as long as he wants whenever he wants, and see his father with the children."
They added: "There is not a world in which he brings the kids back unless there is an enhanced security package around them."
The insider then said anyone would be "horrified by any suggestion of using the King's grandchildren as a form of bargaining tool." If the shoe fits, Prince Harry!
