Despite their very public claims of wanting to live a private life, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight. Most recently, they’ve been the subject of divorce rumors ahead of their upcoming 8th anniversary, though Meghan Markle has been working overtime to present her and her husband as an infallible unit of happiness. Keep reading for more information.

Divorce Rumors Ablaze
According to Russell Myers, author of William and Catherine: The Monarchy's New Era: The Inside Story, cracks are beginning to form from the inside out within Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage, mostly stemming from friction between Meghan's desire to get back into the Hollywood scene and Harry's desire to get back into the royal scene.
"She knows, deep down, that Harry will never stop being a royal and that their life together is contingent on her accepting that," said the source. "After all his promises and plans for independence, it's a very tough pill to swallow."

Meanwhile, Meghan has no desire to even visit London, haven't avoided the city since Queen Elizabeth's funeral in 2022. She "doesn't have any desire to set foot back into the lion's den."
"They had such high hopes when they came to America that things would go their way," the source added. "But it's been one disaster or disappointment after another, there's simply no getting away from that.
Meghan's Attempts At Unity
To quell these rumors, Meghan has been using every trick in the book to make her relationship appear perfect. From looking loved up on date nights to gushing over her husbands in interviews and on social media, from Meghan's perspective, divorce isn't even a thought.
The pair recently attended an NBA All-Star Game in California, sitting courtside next to the likes of Barack and Michelle Obama, among other high profile celebs. Throughout the night, Meghan clutched her husband's arm: quite the picture of a happy couple. "They make a big point to cozy up in public and show the world this 'us against the world' vibe," a source explained to RadarOnline.com.

Meghan also uses any platform she can to talk about how great her marriage is. Recently appearing on an episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Meghan compared their relationship to the final round of a video game where you you "slay the dragon, save the princess."
In another instance, the host mentioned to Meghan that Harry recently said, "I'm so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do," to which Meghan responded with surprise.
"He’s such a great partner. I feel that every day in how supportive he's been and is, but I didn't know he said that, so that's really nice," Markle said. "That man loves me so much and, you know, look what we’ve built. We’ve built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children."
Laying it on thick, she continued. "You have to imagine, at the beginning, everyone has butterflies, and then we immediately went into the trenches together right out of the gate, six months into dating," Markle said. "So now, seven years later when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way, and that's why I feel like it's more of a honeymoon period for us now." Is she really this in love? Or is she overcompensating for something...
