Post Malone and Jelly Roll have become a dynamic duo, performing and creating content together. However, some believe we might not be seeing much of them together anymore after the rapper’s latest announcement.
Recently, on Instagram, the “Circles” singer made a lengthy post about how he had decided to cancel the first month of his and the country singer’s upcoming co-headlining tour. Though they’ve successfully toured together in the past, Post Malone credited needing a break after festival season as the reason to push his next venture. However, others believe it had to do with Jelly Roll’s more right-leaning values and alleged support for President Trump coming to the surface. Read more about the situation below.

Post Malone Cancels First Month of His & Jelly Roll's Tour
Over the last year, there's been a friendship forming between the "I Had Some Help" vocalist and the "Save Me" singer, two popular voices in the music industry, as they've been performing a whole lot together.
Following various festival appearances side by side, the two musicians have become friends and consistent collaborators. Not only have they released songs together, but they also went out on the road for a stadium tour last year, which they had plans to revive this summer. On part two of their big tour, the duo had plans to play big venues around the country, from Florida to New Jersey.
However, Post Malone, whose full name is Austin Post, recently posted a long message on his Instagram story, revealing that the summer leg of the new tour dates would have to be delayed.
"Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we were trying to do and what's possible isn't really lining up," he wrote. "I promised y'all beautiful people new music, and I don't have time to finish it before the tour starts. We ain't ready for tour just yet, so I'm making the decision to push the tour back about three weeks to get this music done. That being said, I'm so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows."

Social Media Users React To The News
Despite the Grammy nominee claiming that he wanted to use the time for the three weeks of canceled shows to focus on making new music, social media users had other theories as to what might be going on.
Over the last year, Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, has been getting into intense media scrutiny and has been put in the headlines regarding his political affiliation. The singer has made some comments and career decisions that have caused him to fall into a more conservative category.
For instance, after making a public appearance with President Trump at a 2024 UFC event, the Tennessee native was also under fire for not condemning the administration's controversial immigration policies during the Grammy awards, as well as deciding to join Kid Rock's right-leaning, MAGA-coded music festival, Rock The Country.
Since all of this has occurred, many social media users believe these incidents could have led to lower ticket sales for his and Post Malone's tour, subsequently leading to the cancellations.
"If he stopped touring with Jelly and had a different opener, he would sell tickets just fine," responded an Instagram user to Austin's story.
"In other words, 'I partnered with Jelly Roll, and now I can't sell tickets,'" wrote another.
"Tying himself to MAGA was a mistake," claimed a user.
"Maybe take Jelly Roll off the tour," another added.
