Oprah Winfrey's Weight Loss Emphasizes Her Facial Transformation

The talk show host has been through a lot over the last few years, and while she continues adding feathers to her cap as an author and media personality, fans and other pop culture lovers can't seem to get over her physical transformation.

For decades, Oprah has admittedly struggled with her weight, going through waves of dieting and being super strict, to eating too much and not feeling a sense of control. She's been publicly ridiculed and embraced the journey by becoming a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and more. But now, she's managed to get to a good place, taking on healthier habits like regular exercise, and more notably, taking a GLP-1 medication to lose more weight and manage it.

Due to her drastic weight loss, the book club icon has slimmed down in various areas of her body, including her face. Some fans believe she looks like a different person, with her "thinner" face appearing less swollen or puffy, and she has more defined features and structure as they compare from ten years ago to now.

Oprah Says She Doesn't 'Recognize' Herself After Losing Weight

As she's made more public appearances and shared more social media posts, fans and other internet users have found that the 72-year-old is looking like a different woman, and as it turns out, she thinks so too.

Over the last few weeks, Oprah's been promoting her latest book, Enough: Your Health, Your Weight, and What It's Like To Be Free, which she co-wrote with a doctor who specializes in obesity. In the book, she opens up about her experience with using GLP-1 medication to quiet all the 'food noise' in her head, making it easier for her to avoid cravings and overeating.

"I thought it was about discipline and willpower," she told People. "But I stopped blaming myself. I feel more alive and more vibrant than I've ever been. I'm not constantly punishing myself. I hardly recognize the woman I've become. But she's a happy woman."
