North West brought her entire crew out for a Valentine’s Day shopping spree—and fans had plenty to say about the outing.

The 12-year-old spent the weekend with three of her closest friends on a trip to New York City, stopping by designer store Alexander Wang. The group coordinated their looks, stepping out in matching ensembles.

The girls wore black-and-white outfits featuring emo-inspired prints and stripes. Adding a bold pop of color, each sported a neon wig. North wore her signature blue wig, while her friends chose pink, green, and purple.

Alexander Wang shared photos on social media posing with the group. In the images, each girl held a shopping bag emblazoned with the brand’s name, suggesting they either purchased or were gifted items from the designer.

Reports say Wang personally welcomed Kim Kardashian’s daughter, showing her and her friends around the store and highlighting standout pieces. At one point, he was seen presenting North with a black studded purse that he reportedly gifted her.

The group was accompanied by private security as they exited the store and were spotted laughing and enjoying iced coffees together.

Social media users quickly reacted to the photos, with many expressing surprise that a 12-year-old and her friends were dressed that way and shopping at a high-end designer store, questioning whether there was adult supervision. They also slammed Kim Kardashian for her lack of parenting.

Social Media Reacts

“I have a 12-year-old, and this is terrifying,” said one user. Another added, “Yeah, we can see the future already, and it’s so sad.”

“It would be cuter if they were in high school. The girl is 12 years old—that's a sixth grader, for reference. "No way in h***,” another wrote.

“This child is 12, sheeesh. She looks 25 years old to me,” someone else commented. “This is what happens when you don’t stay home to raise your children,” another said. “Too young, I’m sorry. Someone had better gain control because Kim has given up,” one user wrote.

“Not appropriate. Kim, be a better mom,” someone else added. “Normalize telling people the truth. They look crazy,” another wrote. “Why isn’t this little girl swinging on swings or jumping double Dutch?” someone else questioned.

“She is 12!!!! My daughter is 11 years old. She still likes making slime and fidget boards. The wildest thing she did this year was watch Stranger Things with me. I can’t even imagine her asking me for face or hand piercings or wigs,” another shared. “Kim did her best, but something tells me this will not end well,” one user concluded.

North West isn’t just spending her parents’ money—she's already working to build a career of her own. The preteen has reportedly signed with Gamma, an independent music company that is also handling her father Kanye West’s upcoming album, Bully.

In February 2026, she released her debut solo single, “Piercing on My Hand,” which she also produced herself. North is currently working on her first studio album, reportedly titled Elementary School Dropout—a clear nod to her father’s debut album, The College Dropout.

She has already gained live performance experience, including rapping in Mexico City in front of a crowd of 40K fans.

Meanwhile, Kim has filed multiple trademarks in North’s name, spanning potential ventures in clothing, accessories, and beauty products.
