The internet is gearing up for North West’s first EP, which she teased is coming “soon,” along with a new snippet shared on Instagram.
After releasing solo tracks like “Piercing On My Hand” and performing with her dad, Kanye West, at his Mexico City concert, the 12-year-old posted a video offering a glimpse into her latest adventures—soundtracked by a preview of new music.
In the clip, North and her friends are seen rocking neon-colored wigs, boarding private jets, and shopping at Alexander Wang’s NYC store. The video also features close-up shots of North showing off her piercings and candid moments of the group hanging out. She simply captioned the post, “EP soon.”

North West Set to Release New EP
Reactions online were mixed. North has already begun stepping into the music industry. In early 2026, she released her debut single, “Piercing on My Hand,” and is currently preparing her first album, Elementary School Dropout. The title is a playful nod to her father, Kanye West's, iconic 2004 album, The College Dropout.
She has also reportedly signed a deal with the independent music company Gamma.
The mother of four has spoken about North’s musical ventures, telling Complex, "She loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn't afraid if people will like it.”
"She's like her dad in that if she likes it, that's enough for her, and she doesn't really care about outside opinions,” she added.
