North West Poses For Los Angeles Pop-Up Event With Finger Piercings
The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for how much content and materials they produce, from shapewear to lip kits. Now, it looks like they’ve got a musician in the mix.
North, the eldest daughter of Kim and Kanye, has officially entered her music era. The 12-year-old’s first official dance-pop EP has been released, and the internet already has a lot to say about it. As if her life wasn’t already different enough from the average pre-teen, she’s fully underway with musician-style events, including a pop-up in Los Angeles to interact with fans and sign copies of her EP on May 1st. Her father made a surprise appearance, and she stepped out with her neon blue hair and gothic-style clothes.
Before the event, her social media team created a promotional poster for it, where she can be seen posing with her hands in front of her face, showing off her controversial dermal piercings. The piercings, located near her knuckles, have caused a lot of stir due to their “risky” nature, and have since been taken out, but not until users suspected they were infected with increasingly red skin surrounding them.
Social Media Users Slam Kim Kardashian After Seeing North’s ‘Infected’ Piercings On The Poster
After the promotional poster for the pop-up was shared online, users quickly flooded threads and comment sections to point out the piercings, in addition to debating whether or not North is too young to have a music career. On Reddit, users began slamming her mom, the reality star, pointing out how the piercings looked infected in the photo, and how it’s one of many decisions made that contributed to rumors of Kim being an “absent mother.”
“Promoting your MINOR child with body modifications/piercings…we know this family is sickening, but watching it in real time,” commented a user alongside ill-faced emojis.
“It really is sickening,” responded another.
“The piercings give me the ick,” wrote a user. “They look infected, too. She’s 12 years old. Terrible parenting.”
“Poor kid,” commented a user, as another added, “A 12-year-old should not have finger piercings. Those look really bad.”
Despite the finger piercings being removed, fans of the famous family and other social media users continue to raise eyebrows, especially since North recently stepped out at Coachella with new ones on her thighs.
