The actress is reprising her role from the popular Hulus show, Nine Perfect Strangers, for their second season. While she kept her signature long, blonde locks for the first season of the thriller series, she’s switching it up for the highly-anticipated upcoming season with a dramatically different haircut. Nicole Kidman Wears A Blunt Bob With Bangs For Season 2 Of 'Nine Perfect Strangers'
One of the award-winning actress's recent roles includes the part of Masha, a healing guru who works at a wellness retreat where nine clients go to escape the stress of every day life. However, as their treatment process progresses, things get a little suspicious and unorthodox.
The show first premiered in 2021, and although it took a while to return, the second season is expected to be released on Hulu on May 21st, 2025. New cast members include Christine Baranski, Annie Murphy, Murray Bartlett, and others.
To promote the upcoming season, Vanity Fair shared "first look" photographs of the season two cast members in character on Instagram. In the first picture, Nicole can be seen in a snowy setting, bundled up with a platinum blonde bob haircut. The hairstyle is very blunt and complete with bangs that end at her eyebrows.
It's quite different from her hairstyle in season one, which was much more natural and bohemian in appearance.
Fans React To Nicole's Character Transformation On Social Media
After the first-look pictures were posted to Instagram, fans quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the show's new cast members and the Big Little Lies star's new look.

Many of the comments on pictures of Nicole playing Masha in season two of Nine Perfect Strangers were related to how hard she's been working, as she has starred in several big films and TV shows in the last year, from Babygirl to A Family Affair.
"I dont know how she does it all, but she does it all," wrote a fan on Instagram.
"I swear Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman are the hardest working actresses in Hollywood," added another.
We'll be curious to see how many episodes the performer wears her hair short for, but for now, the sneak peak has fans more excited than ever for the return of the intriguing series.
