Michelle Obama stepped out for a dinner outing with her daughters this week, but some fans online were surprised by her appearance.
The former first lady was spotted arriving at and leaving celebrity hotspot Funke Restaurant in Beverly Hills alongside daughters Malia Obama and Sasha Obama. For the outing, Michelle wore a mint-green jacket with a brown collar layered over a gray top, paired with boot-cut jeans and a suede olive-green handbag. See her look here.

Malia opted for a black-and-white sundress styled with leather boots, while Sasha wore a double-denim ensemble with leather flats and a suede purse.
Although the trio appeared polished and relaxed for their night out, social media quickly filled with comments about Michelle’s noticeably slimmer frame.
“I am not against them but she is aging differently than I expected,” one person wrote. Another replied, “I think she was sick, I hope all is well and that she is very healthy.” Others speculated about weight loss, with comments including, “She slimmed down a lot,” and “Michelle is on GLP-1 for sure.”
Some critics were harsher, writing things like, “Not aging well like you’d expect,” “Is she okay?" and “Looking rough.”
However, many fans came to Michelle’s defense in the comments section. “She looks beautiful as always,” one supporter wrote. Another added, “Y’all find the worst pictures. She looks amazing!” while another simply commented, “Leave them alone.”

Michelle Obama's Ozempic Speculation
Online speculation surrounding the 62-year-old's noticeably slimmer appearance has continued to grow, with some social media users questioning whether she may be using Ozempic or another GLP-1 medication. However, Michelle herself has not publicly addressed or confirmed any claims about using weight-loss drugs.
Now, a new report from RadarOnline features expert opinions on her transformation.
“I suspect that if Michelle Obama is utilizing a GLP-1, she is using it as a tool after first establishing sound nutrition, strength training, prioritizing quality sleep, and reducing stress,” Tara Roscioli, a certified functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner and certified holistic health coach who has not treated Obama, told RadarOnline.com.
Roscioli added that “a GLP-1 medication may very well be part of her weight loss approach, as it would provide a metabolic boost her body needs post-menopause.”
She also pointed out that, regardless of whether Michelle is using a GLP-1 medication or not, her fitness routine appears focused on maintaining muscle and strength. “Whether Michelle is using a GLP-1 or not, she appears to prioritize strength training over cardio, which is critical as we age,” Roscioli observed.
Michelle has long been recognized for her toned arms and commitment to fitness. However, she has previously spoken about how her goals around exercise have evolved over time. “I am still physically active, and my goal now, instead of having ‘Michelle Obama arms,’ I just want to keep moving,” she said in a past interview.
