Melissa McCarthy Flaunts Her Weight Loss In A Striped Bodycon Dress At The 2026 Fashion Trust Awards
The Bridesmaids actress has become one of the most sought-after faces on any red carpet, as not only does she tend to charm audiences with her sense of humor and entertaining personality, but she's also been wowing people with her latest weight loss transformation.
One of the more recent events she attended was the 2026 U.S. Fashion Trust Awards on April 7th in Los Angeles, and internet users are still talking about her outfit and presence.
For the event, which is hosted by a non-profit organization to recognize up-and-coming names in the fashion industry, Melissa wore a striped, bodycon dress. The dress, designed by Emilio Pucci, was made from a gold fabric, had long sleeves, and patterned stripes up and down in green and light brown shades.
The curve-hugging dress accentuated the mom-of-two's smaller frame, and she paired it with a coordinating sparkly clutch, some hoop earrings, and a youthful high ponytail.

Fans React To Melissa's Red Carpet Look & Weight Loss On Social Media
Once photos from the prestigious fashion and style-related event were shared on social media platforms, it didn't take long for comments on the 55-year-old's dress choice for the evening.
In addition to comments on her dress and accessories, there were lots of positive messages shared about her weight loss and body transformation, which she's been working on over the last decade. Though there are some people convinced she's on a GLP-1 medication to lose weight, the actress has not directly addressed those rumors, but has spoken about how she's slimmed down gradually thanks to healthier lifestyle habits and mindset changes.
"I think everybody's always kind of working on something," she said during a 2018 radio interview. "And I was like, 'If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something.' And then it actually worked better instead of being like, 'I'm gonna not do this and do this and only drink this.' I was like, 'I'm just gonna mellow out, give myself a break.'"
Now that she's dropped strict diets and picked up healthier habits, fans are praising her progress on social media.
"Beautiful always," commented a fan under an Instagram video of her at the U.S. Fashion Trust Awards. "Your weight never defined you, your heart always has."
"She never fails to amaze me," wrote another.
"You're beautiful and look confident!" added a fan, as another commented, "I'm proud of you."
